The North Side Playboys

is a four pieces band that tells you what rock-a-billy is all about. The idea was born when a well-known experienced double bass player has moved to Italy from UK and met an Italian guitar player ("Sneaky Pete" Bridges) and a Swiss drummer ("Dependable Dave" Giudici) that lives for this kind of music. Some months of hard research brought them to run into a young German hepcat, ("Marvellous Mickey" Miller), that with his guitar-strumming and melodic singing will set the crowd on fire. Only a few years went by, and they already rocked some of the greatest stages in Europe that promotes Rock-a-Billy music, and a new bass player ("Borgio" Semeraro) is now a steady rhythm section part of the band. Higly influenced from everything recorded in the late 50's, no matter if a national hit record on a major label or a self-pressed 45 from four drunk guys in their mom's garage,
